Are you ready to make goals for 2019? Two years ago we introduced the Goal Board. A white board where you could post goals that you wanted to accomplish and have us keep you accountable. 20 of you posted goals last year and quite a few of them were crossed off the board. Awesome!Goal Board

We would love to see more of you post your goals on the board. Don’t be afraid that others are going to look at them. Maybe they might have the same one.  Take some time to think about what you want to accomplish this year in the gym. Write down a number of them and then pick two to three that are really important to you and shoot for them. Don’t go crazy and list 14 goals. It’s pretty good to say that you won’t probably get most of them. Start small.

Think SMART when coming up with your goals. Specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely. For example don’t just write down toes to bar. This doesn’t really explain what you’re striving for. Is it just one toes to bar? A better goal would be five consecutive toes to bar by June 30, 2019. See the difference. By setting your goals this way it will help you see your progression and help keep you on track to achieve them.

So dig out a piece of paper and spend a few minutes writing down what you think would be great goals to achieve this year. Then really look at the list and pick two to three that really stand out. Now write these goals on the board using the SMART system. Our goal is to help you achieve your goals!
